Podcast from Soundtrack Series
So ... um, performed my story last month at The Soundtrack Series hosted by Dana & Sean at Waltz Astoria. I was a total nervous wreak, but I have to say I felt really great afterwards and in the end it was a ton of fun. Busy lil girl
I've been a busy bee - writing, producing, performing -- totally stressful and loving every moment of it.
Below is my first writing assignment for a Teen Mom episodic on MTV. I'll be doing them every week for the rest of Season 2. It's pretty tough watching these kids go through this. Having babies so young and dealing with another life when they should be planning their own. It can be really depressing, but I'm hoping to find something positive to take from each story. Not to glorify teen pregnancy but to show that when a choice is made - taking responsibility and thinking about someone other than yourself are virtues we should all strive for.
